At the Brno Open 2024, you can look forward to the absolute world elite in standard and Latin American dances.

This will be the 22nd year and it will take place from September 20-22, 2024, at the Hall of the Faculty of Sports Studies at Masaryk University Brno.

Brno Open is not only the largest dance competition in the Czech Republic, but also one of the highest-rated competitions within the World Dance Sport Federation.

Czech Television will produce a total of 3 television programs from this event.

Dancing couples and spectators can look forward to the beautiful surroundings of the new multifunctional hall, state-of-the-art lighting and sound technology, including large LED screens.

The Saturday gala will be hosted by Jan Onder s Kamilou Tománková.

No less significant for Brno will be the Cup of Partner Cities, featuring teams from our partner cities Bratislava, Leipzig, Stuttgart, Kaunas, Vienna, Zagreb, and of course, host city Brno.

In Brno, competitions from the highest WDSF World Open circuit in the adult category, as well as WDSF Open competitions in other age categories, will be on display, so viewers will see a truly diverse range of dancing couples of all age groups from around the world.

Accompanying international ranking competitions are prepared for both younger and older age categories, so viewers will see a truly diverse array of dancing couples of all age groups from around the world.
We assume that a record 800 dance couples from all corners of the world will participate in this year's event.
