  • photographs, visual or audiovisual records taken during the event,
  • technical data associated with a website visit, such as IP address, device type, internet browser, pages visited, and access time,
  • additional data that the person voluntarily provides to the administrator.

The administrator does not require the provision of data that is not necessary for processing a specific request or ensuring a relevant service.

3. Purposes of Personal Data Processing

Personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • Responding to inquiries and fulfilling requests sent via email or phone,
  • communication with competitors, coaches, referees, and sports organizations,
  • organization of the competition and related program,
  • ensuring participant registration, accommodation, transportation, or airport transfers,
  • ticket sales and control assurance,
  • Communication with partners, suppliers, vendors, and exhibitors,
  • processing requests for media, photographic, or audiovisual accreditation,
  • informing the public about the progress and results of the event,
  • documentation, promotion, and presentation of Brno Open and its future editions,
  • ensuring website security and protection against misuse,
  • management of accounting, contractual and other legally required records,
  • protection of the administrator's rights and legitimate interests.

4. Legal Grounds for Processing

Personal data are processed only if there is an appropriate legal basis for their processing.

Processing can be based in particular on:

  • performance of the contract or implementation of measures before the conclusion of the contract,
  • fulfillment of the administrator's legal obligation,
  • in the legitimate interest of the organizer in organizing, documenting, promoting, and protecting the sports event,

  • protection of the administrator's legal claims,

If processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

5. Competitors and other event participants

Contestant data may be processed to the extent necessary for the organization of the competition, verification of registration, compilation of starting lists, publication of the program and results, and compliance with the rules of the relevant sports organizations.

Registration for dance couples can be done through external systems, particularly the World DanceSport Federation system. The processing of data in these systems is also subject to the specific rules and policies of their operators.

If a minor is a participant in the competition, data may also be processed in connection with communication with their legal guardian, coach, club, or the relevant sports organization.

6. Tickets

Ticket sales can be handled through an external sales system, particularly the Ticketportal service.

Data entered directly into the external sales system are processed by its operator in accordance with their own privacy policy and terms and conditions.

The administrator of the BrnoOpen.eu website may not have access to all the data that a visitor provides when purchasing tickets from an external vendor.

7. Photographs and Audiovisual Recordings

Photographs, video recordings, television recordings, or live broadcasts may be taken during the Brno Open.

These materials can be used especially for:

  • publication of results and competition documentation,

Personal data is not sold to third parties.

Registration, organization of the competition, accreditations, results, and other essential matters are not decided by artificial intelligence automatically.
